Ryan Tubridy insists he DIDN'T say F-word during Friday's Toy Show broadcast

THE LATE LATE SHOW host Ryan Tubridy has claimed he didn't drop the F-bomb during an episode of the Toy Show. On Friday's programme, Tubridy was opening a bottle of Fanta - which fizzed up and spilled all over him - when he appeared to mutter a very naughty curse word.

Irish police enforce ban on Mass, threaten priests with jail

Priest threatened with prosecution after public Masses

A Co. Cavan priest has been threatened with prosecution for holding a number of public Masses in violation of Covid-19 laws. The Anglo-Celt reports that Fr PJ Hughes from the rural south Cavan parish of Mullahoran could face a fine of up to €2,500 and/or six months in prison after Gardaí confirmed to him they were preparing a file for the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), a move they later denied making.

“APPALLING” – Kerry locals object to planned telecoms mast near holy well

Telecommunications company Eir has applied to Kerry County Council to erect a telecoms mast near to a holy well in the north of Kerry, Radio Kerry has reported. The site, known as Ladywell, Ballyheigue, has been described as an “appalling” choice of location, as locals say Our Lady’s Well and Grotto has been a place of deep reverence and prayer throughout the lockdown for many worshipers.
