Rural Pubs In Cork Forsaken Once Again By Irish Government

Listed In: Covid-19

Aontú Rep for Cork North-West, Becky Kealy, has critiqued the government’s continued abandonment of rural pubs, and the return of arbitrary regulations of the pub trade which has already been through so much this year. Ms Kealy said that “In Cork, rural Pubs were waiting in anticipation for the government announcement regarding restrictions for the coming Holiday season, but they have once again been dismissed by the government.” “This is a year, where their income has been devastated and the government curbing that income have short-changed them on a bail-out package. Wet pubs are precluded from opening, and now pubs must have a chef on site to open. We have returned to the pseudo-science whereby a sandwich or a pizza determines whether you get Covid in a pub or not. It is a farce, and is another blinkered policy which fails to even consider the needs of rural communities and businesses,” she said.

Sweden’s strategy was subjected to a global smear campaign, but now it’s showing results. Before the coronavirus, Sweden for most people symbolised moderation and fairness. And because even their proponents recognise that lockdowns come at an extraordinarily high price – eviscerating our freedoms, laying waste to our economies and even damaging our health – the only European country which attempted to tread a more liberal path became the target of an extreme and hysterical smear campaign.

Governments Will Impose New Lockdowns If They Think They Can Get Away With It | Zero Hedge

Listed In: Government

Before March 2020, it is unlikely that many politicians - let alone many ordinary people - thought it would be feasible or likely for government officials to force hundreds of millions of human beings to “self-isolate.” But it turns out governments were indeed able to force a sizable portion of the population to abandon jobs, religious practices, extended families, and community life in the name of “flattening the curve.” Whether through fear manufactured by the news media or through outright threats of punishment, business owners shuttered their shops and offices, churches closed down, and schools abandoned their students. Over time, most governments lessened their restrictions, largely out of fear that tax revenues would collapse and out of fear that the public would become unwilling to obey lockdown edicts indefinitely.

Last ‘Government’ Orders to Destroy the Culture of the Irish Nation | The Irish Sentinel

Listed In: Society

By Helena Handbasket – September 18th 2020 The traditional Irish pub is more than just a drinking den for the barely ever sober. It is a symbol and location of the birth of culture through music and storytelling, the passing on of knowledge from old to young and the traditional learning ground for future traditional musicians where they learn and practice their craft. Any attempt to curtail such activity under any guise is an attack on that historical cultural learning. But as if things couldn’t get any worse in the Emerald Isle, the globalist puppets of the Irish government have taken the war directly to the capital announcing further restrictions on bars and restaurants, despite these restrictions not being applied universally across the small island nation.

Helena Handbasket – As Dublin prepares for more mass protests against government tyranny under the guise of a fake pandemic, it comes as no surprise that the city has now been threatened with further restrictions on movement and gatherings. Tyranny, once unleashed, cannot be curtailed unless the people gather in large numbers and demand, first vocally, and as a last resort violently, to overthrow their tyrants. We have seen the same actions lauded in the mainstream media in countries supported by the west in North Africa, the Middle East and elsewhere, most recently Belarus, (albeit that this is orchestrated by the west) as courageous and noble acts by brave people to curtail tyranny to overthrow their brutal dictators.
